"Artists in Waiting" - article about artists like me - AARP Bulletin July/August 2021 issue

I am among six artists featured in an article titled “ARTISTS IN WAITING”,on page 34 in the AARP Bulletin July/Augsut 2021 issue. The article highlights retirees who discover new creativity retiring from more traditional careers. The listed artists are from all parts of the United States (VA, OR, CA, MO, NY and one artist in Cairo, Egypt. The history began when I received an email inquiry months ago explaining the AARP article idea. This inquiry was followed by an interview, request for art photos and an in-person photo shooting at Great Falls NP in Virgiina. The experience was very unexpected and comes under the theory of being at the “right place - right time”.
