Pen and ink were my first art tools in the 1970s. In recent years, I began to use them again. Archival ink pens give you the freedom to sketch loosely, but keep a few details, and let the viewer imagine the complete picture. The same loose approach applies for me with watercolor. Keep the colors fresh and vibrant.
